Sadly, I wondered why the last two 12-packs of Beck’s tasted like stale St. Pauli Girl. The truth is in the new label, ‘PRODUCT OF USA’ (at the Anheuser-Busch Plant) and no longer attesting adherence to the German purity laws. It is better than typical Anheuser-Busch over-hopped American swill-water, but I suspect that will change as costs are cut, and cheap hops (preservatives) are added to extend shelf-life.
All this, hidden by new ‘Designer Labels’ following a major add campaign stating Beck’s is a bestselling GERMAN beer!
Didn’t these people learn anything from the Lowenbrau fiasco?

It’s remarkable to go to see this web page and reading the

    of getting know-how.
